I'm BAAAAAACK

So, the eastern US lost power today, and the two things that made me really smile about it was that the brooklyn bridge looks as though it became a great big sidewalk for a couple hours, and some guy named 'bob dobbs', supposedly a manager of the NYC transit system, managed to get a call through to Ted Koppel on ABC news live at about 6:20 with some good advice for the drivers of the trains (you know, the ones struck underground) and a brilliant and repeated plug for 'thanksforcalling.com', which he intimated was a nationwide emergency information system which everyone in NYC should immediately log onto to get more information (you know, though their computer, that thing, plugged into the wall.

the best part was that it seemed to take Ted about a full minute before he realized he had been had.

I love you bob dobbs, whoever you are, you sub-genius you
