no no, Evacuation Day is the day after St. Patricks day, right? Boston Hangover Day it's called, idn't it?
No no, it's the same day, fortunately for todays Irish, it's ALSO the day the british evacuated Boston during the war for independance.
making it a wholly secular holiday, like christmas.
