TO really do it right, find an art-house cinema that is showing the film.
The width to height ratio of the film print is mind boggling. A TV is maybe 4: 3 and HDTV is what? 16:9?
The film is shot at 2.2:1.
In most theatres it scrolls 5 feet off either side of the screen. and the cinematography! and Omar Sharif! and yes, Peter O'Toole.
and a lot of very very very long shots.
