National Review Calls For Katherine Harris To Withdraw From Senate Race...

That's a teaser at HuffPo, which links to a San Jose Mercury news story about blah blah blah...

The line from huffpo made me think of a question. If she is not elected becuse she doesn't run (as opposed to winning because she does run), what other tactic could one take to prove the voting machines are actually rigged?

Alternately,

the jig is up, some people are finding computer porn on their work machines and resigning gracefully (of course, porn at work, what other explanation could there possibly be???*), some people are finding expensive yachts in their DC portages and resigning gracefully (of course, blatant graft in Washington, what other explanation could there possibly be???*), and yet others are being urged by party insiders to not even run for high elected office (of course, they don't like her, what other reason could there possibley be???*)

* - pronounced a la 'kids in the hall'.

oh, and there's this too. From the WaPo, slightly more um, reliable, than HuffPo, if generally less interesting.
A majority of registered voters, 55 percent, say they plan to vote for the Democratic candidate in their House district, while 40 percent support the Republican candidate. That is the largest share of the electorate favoring Democrats in Post-ABC polls since the mid-1980s.

I think this is all a major purge. Sit back and watch, and enjoy.

You have to love that Pop Star can insult a woman by the type of breat toast she will become. That is a skill, my friends!

Don't impugn the good name of zweeback (sp?). So delish.

Anyway, we should want Cruella to stay in the race.

Although I wrote this before to no avail, I shall say it again: I fear that no matter if 55 percent plan to vote D, or 60, or 65 or 75 percent, that come November there will still be 51 Republican Senators and 218 Republicans in the House, and the press will still say nothing, and people who question that something may be fishy will still be dismissed as loony conspiracy theorists.

It was better the first time I wrote it.

That may be the case lefty, but if it IS still the republicans, we can hope it's the grown-up republicans who CAN shoot straight.

Pop, teething rhymes with seething. Well said.
