Family sue over Wii stunt death -link-
Sacramento radio station KDND is being sued by the family of the woman who tragically died trying to win a Wii for her children.
Earlier in the week we reported on the sorry tale of the young mother who died of water intoxication after taking part in a radio stunt to win a Nintendo Wii. Jennifer Strange 28, mother of three, drank so much water during the competition that it lead to her death. The estate of Charles Darwin was unavailable for comment regarding the pending lawsuit.

How embarassing for Cali that this has become national (and international) news. And yeah, Strange herself couldn't have been to bright, but you've also got to wonder about the radio station people. I mean they had a NURSE PRACTICIONER call in during the contest, for Satin's sake -- and she outlined for them just what water intoxication is! And the host's response? "Oh, she signed a waiver, so it's okay. We don't have to worry about it."
My only concern is to do with the surviving child of a Darwin Award shoo-in.
Hey, water's not a poison, right? And neither is oxygen...
you don't need a water license - for a reason.
I didn't know about this poisoning issue.
I do now.
