not considered illegal? (link)

Really?
Under Bush Administration guidelines, it is not considered illegal for the government to keep track of numbers dialed by phone customers.
So, he is now officially king. He has offically reserved for himself and his designated few, the right to disobey the common law applicable to us peons.
A pattern of phone calls from a reporter, however, could provide valuable clues for leak investigators.
Oh, how very dystopian the word 'valuable' has just become.

Well, I have a feeling they won't be too worried about "good" (politically expedient for the Bushites) leaks...

you mean, aside from the fact they are obviously trying to wreck the car?

Bush is treating the USA JUST like a rental car.

2008 is my last straw. If shit goes sour I am out of here because then the USA will have officially "turned the corner" into a dictatorship.

Until then, viva la resistance!
